LONDON – 2nd July 2015 – Halle Berry is back for more extra-terrestrial encounters this summer. The second season of Steven Spielberg’s mystery thriller Extant premieres today exclusively on Amazon Prime Instant Video, just hours after US broadcast. Prime members can catch up on season 1 and watch season two on Amazon Prime.
In season two, Astronaut Molly Woods (Halle Berry) discovers she has unwittingly put the human race on a path to destruction, and that she and mysterious stranger J.B. Richter (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) may be Earth’s only hope for survival.

Amazon has secured the exclusive UK rights to the second season of CBS Studios International’s sci-fi thriller Extant, starring Academy Award-winner Halle Berry and produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television. A new episode will be released each week for unlimited streaming, with season one already available exclusively on Amazon Prime for binge streaming right now.
