Amazon.co.uk today announced the release of its latest mobile application, Amazon MP3 App for Android™. Customers with Android-based mobile phones can now search, download, buy and play over ten million songs from the Amazon MP3 music store whenever they want and wherever they go.

Designed specifically for Android, the Amazon App offers users a fast and convenient way to access MP3 songs, from all four major music labels and thousands of independent labels, that can be played on virtually any hardware device and managed with any music software.

Downloaded MP3s can then be played anytime on Android mobile phones including HTC Hero, HTC Magic, T-Mobile G1 and Samsung Galaxy I7500 plus PCs, Macs or any other MP3 player.
