30th December 2010: Kindle (Wi-Fi and 3G versions) was the biggest selling product of 2010 on Amazon.co.uk. Other big sellers included Toy Story 3 on DVD, all three of Stieg Larsson's 'Millennium Trilogy' books and 'Progress' by Take That which became the biggest selling album of all-time on Amazon.co.uk overtaking Susan Boyle's 'I Dreamed a Dream'.

"Outselling the debut album from Susan Boyle is no mean feat and is testament to the continued and growing popularity of Take That," said Christopher North, vice president of Media at Amazon.co.uk Ltd. "In any other year, Take That's latest album could well have been the bestseller across the entire web site but Kindle, Toy Story 3 and the Stieg Larsson trilogy are some of the bestselling products we have ever seen. It has been a great year for big name products."

"Take That has been the band of the internet generation and with a major tour to come in 2011, they are likely to sell many more albums over the coming months," said Christopher North.
