18/09/2009
AMAZON OUTLET LAUNCHES WITH THOUSANDS OF BRANDED FASHION PRODUCTS AVAILABLE AT 50% OFF OR MORE

September 18, 2009: Customers can now find thousands of great bargains from hundreds of leading brands at the new Amazon Outlet. Clothing, sportswear, shoes, handbags, sunglasses, watches and jewellery are all available in the Outlet with the vast majority benefitting from savings of at least 50% off the recommended retail price. The new Amazon Outlet can be found at www.amazon.co.uk/outlet.

"The Outlet store will be a destination site for customers looking for top brands at great prices as most items are reduced by at least 50 per cent," said Kes Nielsen, director of clothing at Amazon.co.uk Ltd. "Customers will find low prices but they can still expect the convenience and service they have come to know from Amazon including extensive product information, customer reviews, fast delivery and customer service that really puts the customer first."

Customers are invited to visit the site often as great bargains will be added almost every day, both directly from Amazon as well as from third party sellers - often in limited quantities.

Some of the great offers available at launch include up to 70% on top clothing fashion brands including Evisu, Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger and Versace, 50% off Just Cavalli jewellery, up to 60% off sports shoes from brands including Adidas, Nike and Puma, up to 70% off DKNY & D&G watches and up to 60% off selected Fila, Nike and Puma leisurewear.

Customers visiting the Amazon Outlet can benefit from free delivery on eligible orders over £5. They also have the opportunity to become a member of Amazon Prime, where they can receive unlimited free one-day deliveries for an annual fee of £47.97.
