Amazon.co.uk announces that free delivery on Amazon orders is not just for Christmas

Free Super Saver Delivery will continue following successful Christmas launch

Amazon.co.uk has announced that each and every product sold by Amazon.co.uk will continue to automatically qualify for Free Super Saver Delivery* within the UK following the introduction of this initiative in October 2009 for the festive season. Prior to October, Amazon customers had to spend £5 for their order to qualify for Free Super Saver Delivery.

"Customers have responded positively to Free Super Saver Delivery during the Christmas period and so we are thrilled to announce that it will continue on into 2010 and beyond on the millions of items available at Amazon.co.uk," said Brian McBride, Managing Director of Amazon.co.uk Ltd.

"We hope that customers will continue to choose Free Super Saver Delivery into the New Year and while taking advantage of the January Deals currently available on Amazon.co.uk, from DVDs to diamond rings and tealights to treadmills. No matter how big or small, these can be delivered for free."

As well as Free Super Saver Delivery, Amazon offers customers a choice of delivery options, including the Prime membership programme, offering unlimited free One-Day delivery for an annual fee of £49.

*Free Super Saver Delivery excludes third party sellers where shipping is not fulfilled by Amazon.
